First Impressions: RecipeKeeper

One of my goals is to get healthier by losing some weight. Another of my goals is to cut back on how much takeout I get. (Let just say, I should have stock in DoorDash.

In the past, I fail at this goal, because I would find recipes but it would be an article in this magazine, a Facebook post here, a website there. And Pinterest can slowly get out of control and be more overwhelming than helpful. Especially with my recently diagnosed ADHD.

So I decided to try again and my brain came up with why not try a recipe keeper app. I use my phone to search for everything and if I was to find a recipe I would like try, it would be on the phone.

A quick Google search later, I find RecipeKeeper.

RecipeKeeper is available on Android, iPhone, Windows and Mac.

My first impression of the app is a good one. I was just expecting just repository, but I see that the app has a shopping list feature and a meal planner feature. Which, incidentally, was going to be my next search.

I also really enjoy the fact that I can put in the web address of a recipe in and import in into the app.

I'm looking forward to testing out this app. Be sure to checkout my follow-up post for a more detailed review.
